Can't wait to receive the Delsing kit I've ordered! I got Mazda to replace my bushings like 3 weeks ago and now that is getting cold here (below freezing), I can hear an occasional clunk again! :( I hope soon this will be just bad memories :)

So I think I am I am having this problem. When i drive over bumps (railroad tracks) my front in makes a squeak. Does not sounds good. I did not know if this was suppose to sound like this since it is a tight suspension. Also when I stop I can hear the back squeak. It has just started to get cold here in Texas and now I am hearing it. Any ideas. IT is at 40,000 miles but I have a extended warr. Should I take it to the dealer???
Thanks

that is not the clunk. That is something else. You can solve this by getting the newer bushings for the front and rear. The clunk sounds like something loose in the trunk, and then gets worse from there, and only happens in the rear. Although, if you don't have the clunk, I wouldn't screw with the rear bushings at all.

Mine has never done either noise in a year :) knock on wood

wow when i replaced my bushin i saw my old ones one of them was ripped n both bushin left pieces of rubber on my sway bar!! they r like glued in there n cant get them off tried everythin but ill try to take it off another day getin to cold down here

I finally got Mazda to agree to replace my bushings again even though the car is out of warranty. Their comment when they called me was 'one last time'.
I would love to know how to replace these myself so that when they go again I can just fix it myself. Can anyone give me some quick instructions ?

wow how did u get them to replace ur bushin? i tried but they said i didnt have warrenty i was like wtf so i might try another dealership but u guys got any tips on how to get them to replace my bushin? i just tried to install the energy bushin but they were to big n they r now givin me to the clunk again

I took my complaint to Mazda. In my mind, they have never solved the problem that has existed since I bought the car, so I should not be expected to pay to fix it.

Newf, I mentioned what you said about replacing the bar along with the bushings, but they would not do that. That was back while the car was still under warranty.

All theowners of cars with clunks should get together and file with the better busness bureau/lemon law ,. There should be some avenue that could be persued that would force mazda to come up with a perment fix .
Mazda is just waiting until all the warrenties are up and then they are off the hook . Mazda has made a error with these parts and doesnt want to pay for their error.

i think that all the people here in virginia n go to one dealership n complain about the clunk n make them fix it i think that would give them a thought of fixin the problem, n then they might issue a fix for it for people with warrenties over just a thought but doubt it will work

Can you set up an appointment for your car. (arlington texas.) I do not want to leave my car over the weekend. I have to have it during the week but I also want the squeeks to stop.

I would be up for that!! Getting ******* sick and tired of this bushing problem... Replaced 4 or 5 times already and even after the supposed solution it has just started to clunk again. And to top it all off ...my warranty is all over..... (pissed) (gun) (strike)

It's somewhere in the thread. I bought the end links as well and I think it was around 240$ in all. You have to get your own bushings as well. So it's a bit expensive but it's very well made. The paint is so-so but I repainted mine with 3 coats of rust paint (I was gonna do it anyways). I haven't had a chance to install mine yet, I hope soon. :)
