My Mp3 started this strange clunking noise when i shift after i let out about 80%...it does it most at higher RPMs...any one hear of this...???...oh and what is clutch chatter??

i have a 01 mp3 and my 3rd gear grinds it has about 40,000 miles on it

Not sure about the clunking while its reving.....the MP3 has stabilizer bushings which clunk but i'm not sure if you're refering to that.....also, to answer aps2g123 question, the grinding is normal....Every MP3 seems to have that problem in third girl.....just make sure the clutch is entirely in before shifting....hope that helped....if not, ask away(2thumbs)
