Clear bra today

looks awesome!!! and by that I mean you can't see it, except for the faint line across the hood.

I've totally regretted not getting it done on the last two cars I owned. hooray for no paint chips on the bumper!!!

I'm ordering a 12" x 48" roll of Scotchgard Paint Protection Film and am going to try and do it myself. Hope to cover headlights and leading edge of my hood, and if that goes well the bumper with another roll.

The clear bra is warrantied to last at least 5 years if applied correctly. If you do it right and take care of your car, it will last longer. I only know this because I install clear bras for a second job.

To Dan1101, you really do not want to use the regular 8 mil film on the headlights. You would probably want to get a small amount of 14 mil or even use headlight specific film. if the film gets too hot on the lights, it will look really bad.

To the OP, congrats on the clear bra. I know you will really enjoy not having to worry about paint chips.
