Most removal of any adhesive includes the use of heat and goo-gone or some time of adhesive solvent

^^^^^^ (lol) ^^^^^^^^^^^^

3M general adhesive remover should do it. Soak it a bunch of times before gently prying them off.

shouldn't, as long as you dont scratch them when you pull em off, if they are just overlays that are glued on you should be ok. use heat and they will come right off no adhesive remover needed if you don't wanna use it because it will take the wax off your car too so you'll have to wax your ride again. any extra adhesive you can rub off with your thumb into a ball

i'm assuming that they are just attached with adhesive, ive never seen anyone else with them...here goes nothing

ill get it done sometime these weekend and let you know how it goes

Hey mdavis did u buy that car off autotrader.com? i could have swore ive seen that exact same car..because it was the first speed i seen with chrome handles

The adhesive remover wont take any paint or anything off your car but like the other guy said you would just have to wax over that area again. The 3M stuff is really good and what us P5 and I'm sure other people use to take off the side moldings.

i found it on the internet i dont remember if it was cars.com or autotrader. I got it in champaign IL. some college kid who couldnt afford the payments and insurance.

i actually bought it sight-un-seen. i had an old college roomate that lived in champaign (who i would trust with my life) as a scout. he gave me the OK so i made the guy and offer and made the 4 hour trip the next day.

probably was the same car.....the kid really lost his ass on it

and for the record...screw all those haters out there

IMO the chrome handles provide a good balance on the BM with the silver wheels, chrome emblems and white side markers. I dont think it would look good on any other color beside BM, but it actually looks good. on a 'stock BM' IMO the silver rims look akward without balance.

and for another record.....I still want to get rid of them

yeah that was the car i saw..because i liked it but IL is way to far away for me to considered it..i ended up with a new speed but i was just checking around on autotrader and saw it lol anyways thats weird that i noticed it i guess
