Chicagoland Mazda Tuners??

Hey All,

I've been interested in a MS3 for some time, but wanted to know if there are any Mazda tuners in Chicagoland. I'm coming from a VW where there are quite a few, but have yet to come across a Mazda tuner. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is apex tuning in Schaumburg, but they mostly deal with RX-7s

there is p and l who are very well known for tuning subarus with the ap and ap just came out for speed 3 but when they make the pro tuner i will be heading there

There is apex tuning in Schaumburg, but they mostly deal with RX-7s

you are thinking A-Spec Tuning and unless you own a turbo FC or FD they aren't going to touch your car. they have a lengthy waiting list even for RX-7 owners

we have plenty of mazda tuning experience with these cars. we have experience tuning the standback, the XEDE and several other systems for other vehicles. we are north of chicago by about 30 to 40 minutes.

Just doing research at the moment. The earliest I'm looking to get one is at the end of the summer..May hold out for a 2009.

Well, when I get the ap(if the tuning software comes out) I'll set an appointment.

You are right though A-spec, though they do their share of mustangs.

I'll 2nd the P & L comments about ProTuning the AccessPort. I've known Jorge (the tuner) for almost 6 years now. Great guy, very smart and know's how to tune. He did the tune on my MR2 via a SAFC, which shows that he can tune just about anything with a turbo on it, and probably NA/SC applications as well.

If I ever get an AP (not likely to happen until after the factory warantee is up) I'll go directly to Jorge @ P & L.

Dose anybody know were I can go to get my fluidampr/light weight pulleys put in? I need a shop that really knows what the hell they're doing.
