uhm... who in their right mind is gonna pay 75 THOUSAND dollars for a shift knob??? Little late for april fools isn't it?

thats the MOST WACK thing i have ever seen..............hmmmmmmmm should i buy a brand new audi RS4 w/ 418hp or a SHIFT KNOB, does seem real since they have on their website but im guessing their kidding around

what will you improve with a 75k knob over one thats 25-50 bucks tops, that you can probably paint or what not to match the color........yes its a satus symbol but whos ganna buy a knob thats 18.75% of thir cars valus saying you have a 400K dollar car? thats like buying a $3,000 dollar knob for your protege saying you bought it new for 16k

are they actually gonna produce this? I would love to see if someone is interested in this, if they'ed be like, "well, umm this isn't really for sale"

Way over priced. Price of platinum as of 13:12 EST today was $880 USD per ounce troy. 2.67 lb = 42.72 troy oz.

Platinum in knob (if pure) costs $37,693.60 USD. How much could it have cost to make it, $37,000 ?

Heh ... well I'm sure they don't actually make the thing until someone buys it. Even if it only costs them $37k to make it, that's still a lot of money.

Anyway, looking at the auction, it looks like they ship it for free ... so that makes it a sweet deal, right?

if it is real, don't count on it looking shiny and new for too long. my wedding band is platinum and it now looks like ass. i've only had it a year, and i don't go banging into things, but within a day of wearing it, i already scratched it.

it ain't so blingy anymore. it's got a nice dull finish to it. i'd go for the titanium, but i like the weight of the plat. it's nice and farking heavy.

I find it hard to take this seriously, you'd have to be insane to spend 75k on something like that.
