Checking performance gains of BOV, CAI, and MBC or EBC

Um $60 for a couple of mounts and $$$$$ for tires/wheels? where's your logic on this one....lol j/k
motor mounts will not completly eliminate wheel hop it will just reduce it and add alot more vibration. My buddy just put Nitto tires on his speed and he has no wheel hop whatsoever and his car has no vibration. Even if he dumps the clutch at 4K rpms he still gets none. IMO tires are the better way to go!!!

I wonder if thats cuz they are really slick though? A really slick tire will just spin out and then gradually catch (no wheel hop) instead of trying to hook up causing wheel hop

your buddy is running a Speed? That is my worst problem I think - I bet I am losing a full second bouncing off the line because of the traction problem - I put those potenza pole positions on the front end and still same problem - they should have made this car rear wheel or all wheel drive. - what model Nittos is your friend using if he is driving a speed - because I know I would be in the 14s if I could just eliminate the traction prob. Confirm he just put Nittos on with no suspension mods right?

something to try

I dont think you will get anything much from the bov, cai ive heard 5hp and... torque not much gain(not to sure.. they have been dynoing different days-temps etc) boost controller will only give you a gain compared to how much you boost.
If your safe, fcd-colder plugs- gauges to monitor... plus the only ppl that were getting mid to low 14's had fmi and allot of tuning knowledge.

But if you do get yours into mid low 14's... let me know.. hhaa id love to be there with only a couple hundred in the parts you were talkin bout.
my 2003.5 msp is slightly modded..hardpipes,cai,mbc,fcd,bov,exhaust.but my freinds 2003.5 msp only has cai, exhaust, mbc, fcd, ngk plugs and he is running 14psi, so you wanted cheap speed?give it a try...it works and at 14psi the msp is soooooooooooooo quick..you'll love it and all for under 700.00 (boom01)

Yeah hes running the Neo Gens. He gets no wheel hop at all just some spin but no hop. I am still running the stock tires and when I went to the track I ran a 15.0 with just intake. But better tires will definetly improve your times and wheel hop.

A proper launch = No Wheel Hop.... A 14psi launch is nothing nice. esp if you can't drive. I'm from the old school of racing,You can spend money until your broke and still never achieve your goal. I believe in the good old fashion ways to make speed..... The Basics!
