your username should automatically appear next to nickname and all you should need to do is click on connect

ok, try either hitting "join #chat", or type exactly what it says, it won't look right, but it let me in.

i'm gettin the same message about the join chat # as everyone else and im not behind a firewall, disable mine just to try it.

well you shouldn't have to do this but try typing

/join #chat

I realize now this chat is not the best. I will see if I can reverse compile it and modify it.

I went in the other day and talked with Enry for just a bit....then just now opened it and had no trouble....hmmmmm wonder what is the problem with you guys.....


remember...you have to hold your mouth just right when you click on the connect button...sort a like this :{0 lol

I can't log on at work, which is when the rest of you are probably on... by the time I got home last night and finally was able to get into the chat room, everyone was gone. Guess I'll never get to chat on that thing, but I'm on AOL instant messenger if anyone else has go that.

I have a feeling that some of you aren't waiting long enough. I'm willing to bet a lot of you are behind firewalls which doesn't let the IRC protocol do some security identifications on you (Hostname lookup, and IDENTD). Just wait about 45 seconds and it will give up on these and let you in. I'm there now. Shh

I'm the same way...can't get in at work. I have had no problem at home tho, altho it's usually empty I find.
