Charcoal P5 - mypfizzle

[rmedoc]

Fizzle asked me to chop some stuff on his car. I painted it charcoal gray, and then added a CF hood to the car. Let me tell you, if any one knows a better way to make CF, let me know! I hand painted the damn thing using patterns and stuff. My first attempt too, and I think I did ok. Well, alas, here they are!

What I started with:

Charcoal colored body paint

With the CF hood chop:

I have to hand it to you remdoc, I've been wondering how the Pro5 would look in the new MazdaSpeed Titanium because I plan on keeping my car long past the life of Mazda's crappy paint. Now that Ive seen your work Its going to be a very hard decision between Titanium and Classic red.

Let's just say this... If they had that as a factory color then I wouldn't have my black mica. That looks sweet. As for the carbon fiber try selecting the area and then using texture fill and just use a texture from a pic of carbon weave off the internet. If you woul like a good weave visit my website by clicking the WWW and then just copy the background as a bitmap. At least that is what I have done in the past and has worked for me.

when you colored the car charcoal you added a little bump near the hood where the hood meets the window. dunno if you know what i'm talking about....

didn't notice the bump til you said something. I thought it was a rock in the background to begin with. Oh well, I'm not perfect. I clean it up in the final versions I do for fizzle. Thanks for the comments though people.
