CF hood

[Concept P5]

think one can be modded to fit our car? even though ppl make it i might be able to land a free one or really really cheap but not for the p5..... what car could be similar and wondering if it can be made to fit?

oh then i doubt it. latch location and mounting points would not match up neither would the width or length or curve/slope of the hood there are lots of things you woud have to do. and once a cf is molded it is a pain to work. you cant stretch it or bend it. it keeps it shape. if it was a metal hood it would be diferent.

well look at the hood of the car that the hood you can get, then look at the hood of the p5, do they look similar, if not get out the hacksaw....

you can get a CF hood for an MP3!! that MIGHT work...

you should still probably take a hack saw to it and drill some holes for good measure though

I dont think there are any hoods similiar, but I feel what you are saying. A rx-7 turbo II with hood scoop will fit on a first gen probe with like one inch shaved buy head light and one 1/2 inches shaved buy front of the bumper.

no sense in doing a thing like that if they didint make any cfh for our car i could understand. since they have them just buy one and would cost more to custom fit it.
