CEL after installing short ram intake

Hey ya'll I currently just purchased the ebay short ram intake, and it suprisingly sounds good. Anyways though I'm a hundred percent sure i installed everything right but now I got two different check engine light codes. First one was P0300-random misfire, and second time was P0171- bank 1 too lean. What do you guys think could be throwing theses codes? Maybe my coilovers? Any advise helps, thanks.

I would focus on the P0171. Is the MAF installed properly? Maybe dirty? I am assuming you mean coilpack (not coilovers ) Did you reset the ECU?

How can u be sure that the MAF is installed "correctly"?

Hey sorry I meant coil packs. And I mean im pretty sure I installed the MAF right, i relocated the selonoid with the electrical connection and two two rubber connections. and I used the stock maf black thing and just connected with the kit i bought.

Is it running rough? If not, clear the code(s) and see if they come back. At least that is what I would do.

Now I am running an Ebay intake and at first it was making contract with another piece of engine. Ended up punching a hole in the piping. This may be to of how i tied it down. It seemed a bit to big thougheither way. Any knocking?

Hey guys just an update, i looked at it again real carefully this morning and realized that I didnt fully connect the rubber adapters from the intake to the throttle body, and there was a small misconnection and therefere prob the lean code. Anyways fixed it and reset ecu, hoping it wont come back on. Btw, I got headers on the way, was wondering if anyone knows what size the bolts are on both the j pipe connection and the ones on the exhaust manifold. Is it 10 mm like the heat shield?
