Carbon fiber hoods

Is anyone thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood?

I'mconsidering it, but right now I think that would be too pricey for me...in the future, most probably

This may be a really stupid question, but can you get the hoods painted the same color as the car, or do you have to keep it black?

it depends on what you want. you can paint over that-but then you wouldn't see the carbon fiber. or, depending on where you get it and if it is full carbon fiber-you can paint the hood then lay a small amount o carbon fiber-thatways you have the look of the carbon fiber, but the color behind it-it looks prety cool

Or you can buy a colored CF hood. They are available in Yellow, Red or Blue. Those are the only colors I've seen. Yellow looks pretty cool too. Love to get one in the future.
