Car wax spray?

I've seen it around here, but it's usually quite a bit more expensive than regular Mequire's cucabana (however you spell that) wax. Plus, there's just a part of me that enjoys waxing the car...

I use Meguiar's Qwik Wax

P.S. happy 100th post for me yay :D

every time i have tried a spray wax it allways streaks. the black magic car wash with wax works reall good just dry it of and it looks like you just waxed it. works the best besides doing it the old way

I have used similar products. I tend to stick to Meguiar Products b/c they give me the best detailing results of all I have tried. 2 Products I use that are similar to what you are talking about are:

Quick Detailer

- I use this to keep the car shiny after a recent waxing. Down here in FL it's impossible to keep a car polished during the summer with it raining EVERYDAY!! So I keep a bottle of this handy to prevent water spots and it helps keep the "wax look" after some driving/weather. I just keep a microfiber (polishing) cloth handy and just touch-up the wearing areas (front nose, rear bumper, hood, etc..)

-and-

Quick Wax
http://www.meguiars.com/product_showroom/showproducts_template.cfm?SrcLine=CP&SrcCat=4

- This is basically a spray-on wax in a dilluted form. It DOES coat your car in protectant, but don't expect it to do what a hard wax is meant to do. Ever go through an automatic car wash or one of those do-it-yourself high pressure jobbies, and they have a "spot-free wax" cycle? Well that is what this is, just a bit better though. Best way to describe how I use it is that when I only have time for a quick wash, I will ALWAYS apply this very quickly afterwards to at least have the protection (minimal) against the weather, and the shiny look of a detailed car. It also helps prevent against hard water oxidation on your clearcoat. If you are going to be driving a while after you apply it, don't expect it to last more than a few days. But if you are planning to drive the strip to pick up the chicks, its a good, quick way to gloss the ride!

Anyway, hope that helps!

Z-Cast

is Zaino's Gloss enhancer a spray wax? I use it each time after i wash my car and wax it with Z-2 or Z-5. well, if Zaino's Gloss enhancer is a spray wax, it doesnt streak at all and it keeps the car feeling smoother than a baby's bottom

Two of the better Spray waxes, in my book at least, are Optimum Car Wax, and Four Star Ultimate Paint Protectant Spray Sealant (Polymer)......

Thats more associated with quick detailing though, as opossed to a "wax" or "sealant".
QS is an exellent product though, very very good !!

oops, had a different interpretation then..

But yea.. Optimum would be my #1 choice as well. I've used it couple times while at school, very easy to use and brilliant result. Especially very convenient for people like me -- no garage to detail cars.

I really enjoy waxing my car, so I haven't gotten into any spray waxes yet. But I'd go with Optimum or the FourStar spray as well.

I don't have a garage at my apartment and not even a covered parking. So, I just QEW my car and spray OCW on it. If I get REALLY lazy, I just QEW and use Clearkote QS.

Mother's FX spray wax is pretty good stuff. i use it on my weekly wash as a touch up, when im not doing a whole new wax/polish coat(s)
