Car Overheating

I've replaced the thermostat and I'm still getting no hot water in the lower radiator hose. I don't overheat until I'm driving a little bit and then slow down. I used to be able to turn on the heater to alleviate the problem, but now I get zero response from that. It feels like regular air is coming out. Any ideas? I'm beginning to think it may be a radiator flow problem, but I'm not too sure. Please help!

no heat at all on lower hose? is there a sweet coolant smell in the car when your heater and vents are off? replace t-stat and come back with results it sounds like its stuck closed.. any leaks or noise by water pump?

Water pump? I've been having mad issues with my ride lately so today my dad and I replace the thermostat and the radiator but that didn't help either. Come to find out... The water pump is gone! My dads mechanic friend is doing it since I have already replaced the motor once and I don't really want to do it. The timing belt has to come off and a bunch of other s***. So, I will pay to have it done. Just hope it isn't your water pump because it is internal in the motor.

I had already replaced and removed the thermostat completely before I posted to no avail. Dinux, what symptoms did you have with the water pump going out? I've had an intermittent squeel and I'm beginning to think that's probably the issue.

a water pump that ive seen usually has a whinning sound check your belt tension then the pulley itself with the belt off and see how it moves with just you turning it.. i had to replace mine but it gave no signs no sounds or anything it was the internal impeller seal that went and was slowly leaking out one of the holes drilled in the water pump case.. i know you directed towards dinux but im just tryin to help..
