Just a few.

What do you use to clean your windows? a cotton towell? a sponge?

What do you use to clean the body of your car? Sponge?

thats all i can think of for now.

I Mr. Clean Autodry the car. In the soaping phase, I sponge the whole damn thing and follow the drying process. After, I RainX it. Works wonders.

I've heard that newspapers are what detailers use but never tried it. whats the significance of them over cotton towels?

do yo u guys use just news paper? or some sort of window cleaner with the newspaper? I've never heard of using newspaper before. lol

Newspaper doesnt leave streaks. Cotton towels leave lint in general. Newspaper= NO Lint :D

lamp3: Yeah u use window cleaner windex works well, although if u dont have that a lil' vinegar & water in a spray bottle will do the trick.

newspaper seems to pick up anything on the window leaving no film or residue, and no streaks.

i like the classified section. :p

hmm well.....windows, news paper works great, like mentioned above, it leaves NO lint and removes everything! and yes, you do use windex or invisable glass (however you spell it) that combo should give good results. as for washing, i use a cloth mit, works great also! another trick for windows is to wax them, yes, i said wax them, use regular wax, apply and let it haze then buff away, removes waters spots and is very smooth! try it, it works!! hope this helps

just remember to not use windex on tint... as for polish use a foam pad, and a cotton for the wax

For the body I use a 100% cotton towel, to wash and dry vehicle.

For the glass i use 0000 steel wool with Turtle Wax glass cleaner and use a microfiber cloth to wipe clean, inside and outside DON'T use the steel wool on windows with aftermaket tint. Also clean your glass when it is cool to the touch, if not you will end up with streaks no matter what product you use.(2thumbs)

Wax will leave a film on your windows. As soon as you hit the wipers, it will streak. A clean, damp chamois works great for interior and windows. ;)
For the paint, use a lamb's-wool mitt and some car wash soap.

Has anyone tryed Wheel Wax? Wondering if it will really keep dirt and brake dust off wheels. It is sold through Discount Tire....
