I have a pyramd pb 772 car amp, here's some specs.
- 2 channels
- approx 75 watts each true RMS
- useful if you have say, two 8" subs
- 2 ohm stable
- subwoofer cross-over is built in
- has high and low impedance imputs
- it's thermally protected
- has its own 15Amp fuse
- turns on and off with your car radio
The unit says 300 watts. I'm not entirely sure how these retards calculate 300 watts since the fuse on it is only 15 amps, 15 times 12 volts = 180 watts total (any more than that the fuse blows).
So 150 watts or 75 watts per channel is a more likely figure.
FYI, this is not something you ought to take to a car show or show off to friends. I was using it to power four 6" subs and it got the job done with pretty good quality. That and the price is 100$.
