GI- you're the walking, talking ugly American. You think you can do anything and you're justified because we're the world's only superpower. Everyone who doesn't agree with you right-wing POV is a "******* commie liberal". You are completely misinformed about historical facts, but it doesn't stop you from saying ignorant s*** like "we saved Russia in WWII" and "go ask Iran". And you are in the majority as of yesterday. Way to go!
First, you don't know me. I am not "ugly". LOL (headbang)

Second, I am a History major..so your statement "You are completely misinformed about historical facts, but it doesn't stop you from saying ignorant s*** like "we saved Russia in WWII" and "go ask Iran"" just doesn't hold water here asshat.

Thirdly, I am in the majority, that does not mean I am right nor does it mean that I am wrong.

Well said here. Well said indeed!

The point is that America is the police of the world, mainly because we are asked to be...you would admit that point wouldn't you?
America is the "police" of the world ONLY when it benefits us to do so. Desert Storm? Kuwaiti oil interest. Afghanisan? So Bush could install a natural gas pipeline in the Caspian. Iraqi Freedom? hmmm, Oil, Haliburton?
This is UNDISPUTABLE clear, blatant, FACT. Can anyone say "obvious intent"?
But all you Bush supporters are sooo blind to this for some reason. He is an international white-collar criminal...just like Daddy. Why haven't we gone and bombed Saudi Arabia...WHERE ALL THE TERRORISTS CAME FROM!?!?! Ohhhh...'cause you can't be ******' up the money like that.....17% of our economy is controlled by the Saudis...thanks to Bush and his partners business connections.

That's b/c we're gonna seal the border! :)
Wha.....
(uhm)
:wtf:
Let's try to take a ride on the logic train here...
Matt says: I don't give a **** about what Canadians think of US politics. (paraphrased). I agree with Matt. Therefore you will seal the borders?

I think the logic train just derailed.

1) Canadians can't vote outside our border, it doesn't matter what we think.
2) Kerry has already conceded to Bush.
3) IF I were allowed to vote, it would have gone to Kerry. He is likely the lesser of two evils.

John Kerry. But look at it this way, if they re-elect Dubya, our dollar might surpass the US dollar...cool (2thumbs)
It still will give it 1.5-2 yrs. Since Bush was elected four years ago its been falling with this trend max 2 years and CAD = USD. Just like the 70's

Everyone STOP!
I did not start this thread to start a "war" or an argument between the two countries. Nor was my intent to divide unity between you United States Citizens.

Your country has made a choice now....just accept it and work with it. I, myself, do not trust Bush. But I still respect the ones who believe in him. It's their choice.

You gotta look at it this way; Bush or Kerry, there would've been negative AND positive effects on the United States AND the rest of the world no matter who would've won the election.

Same with Canada. Vote Liberal - risk some more sponsorship scandals and money being lost. Vote Conservatives - risk division in the country....etc. Whatever people here believe it would've caused.

Politicians are politicians....they will always be. A President, a Prime Minister...they're people like you and I. No one can change the world (or country) in a 4 year term....not even in 8 years! Anyways, I could write for hours about this.....the fact is, I was just curious to know what Canadians would have voted in the US Presidential election....that's all! No big deal!

^^Dude, to me your intentions were perfectly clear when you started this thread. I don't think you shaould have to apologize and explain yourself to anyone....as it was just a bunch of assholes questioning your opinion, as if you didn't deserve to have one regarding this issue. I for one, was VERY interested in what our neighboring country had to say, and as to what your perception of us is. So, thanks for starting this thread!

Agreed.

By the way, sorry to all voters who did not get a chance to vote in my poll. I accidentally made the poll close (stooges) like a day after I had started it. But (thought) you can still post your opinions in here. (yes)
