Canadian pricing was announced today at the Montreal autoshow the GS fwd will price out at $31,995 and the awd at $33,995. Thats before freight and PDI are added. I'm guess about $4,000 more for the GT model. Not bad!!! Leather full load for under $40k!! Where do I sign (thumb)

I don;t think the top model of this car will be more than the MS6, which tops out to be $38XXX. so the GT model can;t be $4000 more. If i am wrong the pricing from Mazda canada must be screwed up

why do you say the cx-7 cant be more than the MS6?

Pricing for the GT model was released today at $37,195.

Its $1000 more for the 9 speaker Bose surrund sound system and $3150 for the Nav.

Not bad at all!!!

I have to say, i was looking into buying one of these but the prices is alittle bit more than i expected. The Toyota Rav4 isn;t even as much as this, and is a Toyota. The Rav4 has a V6 engine and the CX7 got a I4 turbo but thats not the point i want to get in to. The point is he toyota's V6 engine uses less fuel than the CX7 engine and doesn;t need 91 Fuel and abt the same HP, more too if i remember right.

But still i think the CX-7 is a great car, have to test drive both car to tell which one is better.

I may be taking your post wrong, but you seem to be indicating that because its a Toyota its somehow better or worth more money?

The Mazda is priced right where it should be compared to whats out there. The technology and features in the CX-7 are far superior to the RAV4. The driving dynamics will be far superior as well. The gas mileage won't be as good as the Toyota, but will still be good for a mid-size SUV. The CX-7 is a sports car, its a poor mans FX45. The Toyota is for people who want a boring, reliable vehicle that happens to have power. For the most part its two different demographics.

I dont think it's right to comprate a Rav4 vs a CX-7...
maybe a Suzuki Vitara vs a Rav4..
