Can we keep Mazdaspeed related videos here? (reasoning within)

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but why not keep the Photo/Video Section and subsection it for:

MSP Photo/Videos
MP5 Photo/Videos
MP3 Photo/Videos
3rd Gen P/V
2nd Gen P/V
1st Gen P/V

This is really your argument. Not organization, not apperance.
That is the exact mentality this site is aligned against. You will need to start your own site to get what you want.

In my example Sue's autogauge choice may be more relivant cause it matches my interior better.

Many of the things that are different in the MSP's interior are different from MSPs in 2003 to MSPs in 2003.5. Also they are largely the same as all other proteges.

My only suggestion would be to consider putting a Technical & Photo/Video section inside of each of the categories that Mike just listed. That way people like II-Savy here would see (& hopefully use) them even though they only like to visit their specific section.

the thing I like about our community is that everyone seems to know everyone else. Because we share all theese forums together, and arent seperated too much. the SRT forums, and impreza forums, have TONS of sub catagories, like you want, and no one really knows anyone else other then who posts in that specific forum.

Nope, cause even if someone just mentioned the word MAZDASPEED it comes up and you have to wade through tons of crap nothing to do with what you were looking for.

The search is dumb in that it just looks for the words you type in. It's not 100% that it will have what your looking for.

What do you think about this idea? Subcategorize both the Technical & Photo/Video sections. However, put the Technical inside of each model's forum & leave the Photo/Video all together so that we don't become estranged like Steph said.

If your having trouble finding info using searches, maybe its because the thread titles you guys use suck at life?

Why does msp specific stuff mean that much to you, almost everything in these cars is the same. you guys just get a turbo kit, and an lsd.

I kinda agree that subcat's suck but I was trying to think of a compromise. The forseeable problem with one category subcatted is that then Audio will want to be subed and so on and so on.

Differences:
The sterring wheel (same as MP3, and it only has silver, all protege use silver as an accent color)
The shift knob (wow, big so the hell what there.It cetainly doesn't justify another section)
The radio ( both stock, MP3, and MSP all displayin red.)
Seat stitching which is different MSP to MSP
Pedals (MP3 similarity again)

I'm considering making a Mazdaspeed-specific forum of my own, funded by myself, where freedom and organization will be seemlessly blended. Vendors can pitch products for FREE. All Pro owners with insight will be welcome too. I'm really interested in creating a community that will be of better benifit and learning.

Benefit MSP owners only and only by there lack of coopeation, and only the ones that refuse to fallow the rules that all others here have been fine with for 2 years.

So a gauge installed in a MP5 will more than likely utilize the same colors as one for the MSP? Hmmmmm???
