can you just do the fs-ze intake cam and not the exaust, what would the gains be if chance? repinning the intake would cost? (thumb)

You think it'll be easy to find a shop to do that sort of thing? I have the FS-ZE intake cam in, but I have a new timing belt and tensioner spring waiting to go in but I figured I'd see about making my intake cam into an exhaust cam first.
 
should be. they should be able to measure the stock exhaust cam, find out the degree point of that cam, then replicate the positioning on your intake cam. both my cams are intake cams, the exhaust being repinned

My original motor is out of the P5 and still in the back of my truck. So now I have a complete spare motor and tranny to start with.

I want to stay N/A as well. I have a rebuildable motor so now its time to start doing homework and figure out what makes the best WHP.
 
The only reason I'm NA is because most NA mods are simple bolt-ons. If I was going to turbo my car I would absolutely get forged rods first so that I didn't have to worry about bending one so much, but forged rods are expensive (I assume, I have no clue really) and I don't think I trust myself working on the engine at such a low level. Cams are about as far as I'll go.

No, I agree.. those are mods any forced induction person would do too.. well minus the header sorta.

It's when you go past those first simple things that it becomes an NA tuned car in my opinion.

Yes

I already have an Injen CAI, ceramic coated header, MP3 ECU, MAM midpipe, Magnaflow cat back. Now I want cams, 11:1 compression, forged internals, UDP, upgraded clutch and maybe even a MPI to tune it with a lap top for all the modifications to work together.
