callphy 's [Build thread?!]

Most multimeters are fused (should be in the back with the batteries) should be fine to check alternator....I wouldn't even worry about dealing with your old battery, you have a new one just put that one in....sparks are normal when dealing with battery voltage....

dam its freezing cold in the garage =,=

old battery tested 6Volts(scratch) will this battery bring back alive if i charge it with 2amps for really long time?

or should i just recycle this

i guess the keyless entry is really because of the battery level, i cant even unlock doors with remote today, gotta use key now

red top is at 12.47volts havnt install yet, cuz i am not gonna drive for another 2 weeks i guess, might swap it out the week after.

just a update before i go to sleep.

after 6hours 2amp charge to the old battery and listen to radio for 10mins, the voltage stablized near 10.4volts keyless entry back to normal.

weird thing is last time i use 6amp charge for roughly 3hours, didnt check the voltage, but the keyless entry just doesnt work very well =,=

btw last time i connected the ground wire to body, and this time i connected to the engine(the hook above exhaust manifold) am i doing the right thing?

might gonna charge it lil more on sunday and see if i can bring it back to 12volt +

should i paint this to match spicy orange, or should i just use 3M carbon fiber to wrap them. (wrap the hood to carbon fiber as well?)

for the mesh grille, any cheap low gloss black spray can would do ?

ok, i was planning for a new arm pipe for the corksport FMIC so i can relocate MAF

but guess thats too much work

so i stay with recirculation setup for now maybe?

gonna grab a hks bov recirculation adapter (theres several sizes , if i pick the 19mm adapter, i can use 19mm silicone hose which is same size as bypass valve hose right?)

question is , if smaller recirculation adapter/hose a good thing to consider or not?

smaller adapter and hose would keep the bov open longer and making longer hisshhhhhhhhh sound right?(scratch) and maybe better for mainting pressure ?
(bigger recirculation passage would make the pressure drop/increase so suddenly? the gauge would show up like up and down up and down?)

so i buy a 19mm hks recirculation adapter and a meter of 19mm silicone hose, few small clamps maybe and then i can start installing FMIC?

if those are ebay knock offs i would make sure they actually fit properly before doing any work on them.

lol i was trying to take the grille off without taking the fornt bumper off...

dam i think the bottom was locked to the bumper, gotta grab jack and stand tomorrow maybe, and take the front bumper off and try again.

btw the eye lid fits well, grille are really bad fit, looks like a short version of grille,

it actually fits without taking the original grille off

kind like i can use double tape to tape it on directly LOL

i am waiting on my tape, carbon fiber wrap and bunch little thingy ordered from Hongkong before i can start working on these 2 .(takes about 1.5-2weeks for the shipment to arrive)
