29k miles $16200 out the door.

I would have bought this for 14k after talking him down... then had it shipped to Hawaii. Might even of had some money left over.

Heres the specs:

43K miles and in very good condition both inside and out. Garage kept with all synthetic fluids since I purchased car at 12K miles in 2002. The Voodoo II was added one year ago and has performed flawlessly. Moving is unfortunately forcing me to sell the car. The car has the sport suspension (w/ limited slip diff.) along with keyless entry and fog lights. Car has never been tracked or auto crossed and all maintenance records and receipts available upon request. $14,500 obo.
Voodoo II turbo (installed at 36K miles)
ACT HD clutch (installed at 34K miles)
Flying Miata Dual Exhaust
Dual Gauge Pod w/ AFR and Boost Gauges
Dual Hoop Style Bar
Voodoo Shift Knob
Brand new Yokohama AVS-ES100 205/R16s

$14,500 obo

Go to miata.net, then to MARKETPLACE on the left header... then sift through 3 pages of companies.

These guys, mostly, are Miata specific so you wont be buying a "one size fits all" header LOL.

oooh.. jackson 999-280 $2795

Is that the Jackson Racing SC? Id save my pennies longer and get the BRP SC anyday.

Speaking of saving pennies, good luck with the hardtop search in Hawaii. They are expensive here in the lower 48- going for 1200 used usually, 1000 if your lucky.

Kristin, what have j00 been doing?!@#%

so ahem, what have i been doing? i'm sure you don't care but i'm going to tell you anyway. >.<

ANYWHO. here's the story:

after driving down the highway to meet up with a friend i kinda snugged ass with the car infront of me, ok sure, bad idea in the first place. anyways, obviously there was a dead animal in the road, the car infront of me hit the dead carcass and then it slung up at my car. now, for the past couple of months i've been driving around with pieces of a dead animal in my radiator. yes, i got the larger pieces off but the itty bit's i couldn't remove. so at high revs my car smells like death.

moving on..

after this happened i looked into grilles for the miata. prices were outragous (not really) and i thought to myself "heh, with all the stuff i have here on the farm i can easily make my own." so i went for it. i did some searching on miata.net on making a custom grille just to get an idea of what i'm going to be dealing with.

"2 hours." TWF?!@#% no. never. not with me, took me 2 days to do this "simple" project. mainly because i have the attention span of a 3 year old, but that's another story..

so here it is:

THIS IS NOT THE FINAL PRODUCT THIS IS A ROUGH DRAFT

^ teheheh, had to point that out first.

i still have some sizing to do and when i put it on the anvil i got a little hammer happy and hammered areas i didn't want done, so, that made it look like poo on the outsides, as you can see. so now that i have that to kinda compare the size with and see where i failed at some angles i'm off to making yet another one..EH.

i guess it's one of those things that'd you have to actually see?

i admit, it's not finished and looks like crap, but when it's on and you stand from a distance it looks pretty sharp.

dont they sell those lower grills like.. everywhere?
