Hey guys, i have a friend that works for a mazda dealership and about to buy a 3 from him. Im looking for a silverstone/gray 5spd hatch. He has one with 300 miles from a dealer to dealer trade. They hire older retired guys to drive these cars from dealer to dealer so im not worried that the car was beaten. I am worried about the first 300 miles being highway miles at a constant rpm. Usually i wouldn't get a car with so many miles but he can give me 1000 factor to dealer cash incentive for this month. Right now im 60/40 so any help would be great! I drive my cars pretty hard(track sometimes) so having an engine that runs well is pretty important. thanks for any help.. nice choice of smily faces admin.. (blowjob)

While the general rule of thumb is to baby a car for the first so many miles, I really do not think you need to be worried about it.. Most mazdas are prebroken in.. I know mine were.... But It is not going to make a difference how it was treated in the first 300 miles.... If something happens to the car down the line it will most likely result from driver error not the first 300 miles....
