Bulb Upgrade

Bulb question 4 u guys

I called several stores to find out what bulb number the (taillamp) blinker on my 2003 protege sedan is...if anyone knows the bulb number for my tail lamp(blinker lights) I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I'm not sure, but I think it's the same as the front blinkers. Whenever I want a new one I just tell them I need the blinker that skrews in and has two dots on the back. I know it sounds dumb, but at least they know what I'm talking about.

hey black-knight,

if i remember correctly you can just look it up in the owners manual, all the bulbs should be listed in there.

I also have Silverstars on my car and just love them :D

Very very pure color :D

Now if they could make h3 also :(

I have some Euro Design bulbs I off of ebay and they look pretty nice. I got H7 and H3 lights and they were $30 shipped(total), but havn't instaled the H3's because it looks like you have to remove the bumper.

The Silverstars are nice lights, much brighter and I had them in my Corolla for 3 years no problems. If my lights burn out I will probably go back to those; even thought they say they have a lighttime warrenty

Actaully, you don't have to remove the bumper at all if you want to change your fog light bulbs. It's really easy, just do a search or better yet, go to the how to section.

You won't find them anywhere. The owner's manual doesn't even mention the bulb #...at least mine didn't. The closest bulb I found that fit is 1156 and then just file one of the nibs down.
I changed mine 6 months ago.
