Looking at Ebay right now, prolly will buy a cheaper intercooler, IoN is asking a lot.

What sizes do you think will fit? Feedback is cool.

I'll put it where everyone else puts it, I'm assuming in from of the AC condensor, along the bottom grill. I will also prolly buy a p5 radiator with brackets. I might buy from you if the price is right.

Wagner mounts his to .If you are looking for a $200 intercooler, then bar/plate or tin/tube will be a good choice.Extruded core is typically 2-3 times the cost of bar/plate.

what is the difference in the extruded core and the others?

There's a few types uses for intercoolers.

Bar/plate.It's the most commonly used due to cost and efficiency.Bar/plate has relatively good heat transfer with minimum pressure lose.Typically uses fin/fin for stacking(Charged side fins are the same as the ambient side fins.).

Fin/tube.Is most commonly used for AC condensors, oil coolers, etc. It's readily available and has good heat transfer.IMO it's not a good choice for air/air heat transfer.Typically uses a tube with external fins.

Extruded. Extruded core uses columns/rows of tubes that have internal and external fins.

so what are we talking in overall effeciency of the Extruded as opposed to the Bar/Plate? because the real question is, is the difference in cost worth the effeciency factor? i am assuming two identical systems as well, the only difference being the core...

go with a greddy type 24 its the same as the drag kits and good for 300 whp. 26x11x3 fits nice.

IMO the cost is well worth it.
