I have an 02 protg es with a standard. just bought the car a few weeks ago. the test drive was awesome but shortly after the car has started bucking at random times. it occurs most frequently when cold. it will happen in every gear accelerating or cruising in stop and go traffic and down the interstate. it will just buck once or twice and my tach will show a drop of 500 rpms or so and then it will jump right back up. A few times driving down the interstate the car just lost all engine power like I was in neutral but I wasn't and the gear didn't slip. I could press the accelerator and feel the engine still under load and movement in the engine but no power to wheels but if I engage the clutch and tap the gas I am good to go. it just scares me to lose power like that. my cel is used to just stay on then flash after driving now it just flashes. I took it too autozone and had my codes read and it said a random misfire and bad crank position sensor. so I replaced the sensor along with plugs wires and coil packs with little to no change. got an oil change and a week later it just seems like it is getting worse. took it back to read the codes today and they were P0348, bad crank position sensor; P0300,random misfire; P0660, Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control Circuit/Open Bank 1. Im at a loss. I don't know what to do now and with the bucking im afraid to drive it but I need the car to get back and forth to work. HELP ME PLEASE
