Brake problem

Alright i got a question. I don't own a Mazda but my girlfriend does. Its a 2002 Mazda Protege ES, 4 wheel disc. I have done brake many of times, i know with ford you had to turn the rear piston back in due to the park brake. however yesterday i took off the rear, and the piston looked normal, no grooves or slots for the rear caliper tool. I tried the c-clamp method that everyone knows and the pistons would not good in. I'm thinking seized up calipers?

i think u have to turn your piston in clock wise like a screw.

pardon me while i post this long link in order to come back and click on it wiht my PSP, which doesnt have a keyboard. trying to get AIM to work on it.

Rear caliper tool? Well theres a bolt u have to remove to gain access to the allen bolt that will retract the piston

do i have to bleed from all 4 corners?

Absolutely!

Start with the corner with the longest path away from the master cylinder and work your way to shorter lines.

i.e.
1. Right Rear
2. Left Rear
3. Right Front
4. Left Front
