Brake knocking noise...Anyone else? 2017 CX-5

Hi, I drive a 2017 Mazda CX2.5 petrol Individual. Recently, I have picked up a knocking noise after braking and then accelerating. It happens going forward and also reversing. The dealership replaced brakes, checked the suspension, checked the shock mounting and it is still there. They have suggested to book it in to strip the drive train which is a costly exercise. Anybody experience a similar problem?

A "knocking noise" description is pretty general. Where does it seem like it's coming from? Is it even coming from the wheel /brake area. Could the battery or something else be loose and shifting? Can you feel it in the floorboards? Is it a heavy knock or a light knock? Don't be offended but hopefully it's not something rolling around in the glovebox. If it is suspension related I don't think they checked it thorough enough. How many miles on the vehicle?
Dealership you say. No, I wouldn't let them "strip the drivetrain". Appears they are looking for a nice profit or are incompetent or both.
Just my take from the limited information provided.

If you can take a video recording of the knocking sound, it would help to narrow down the potential cause. Has the dealership checked for any loose bolts or fasteners under the hood? Some people reported a knocking sound that went away after tightening the windshield cowl bolts, but for them, the knocking would happen while going over a driveway curb or while turning.
