Bought a MSP....I think its got springs already on it??? HELP

This thread is junk with just a "Finger Scale" Get a ruler and measure it for sure on a level area...

Perhaps the springs are stock but the original owner was too cheap and just "CUT THEM"

nickthat wasnt what I said. i said they were stock, and that it handles very weird.......it is stiff, but there is def something messed up with your s***. And i have the eibach prokit on my car.

Looks stock to me also, but even if it is lowered, you should invest in different springs or coilovers and get rid of the rest of that gap!

Nick I told ya it was stock, I even looked at your springs tehy are def stock. And it does still sit a little higher then mine, I didnt check to see if they were cut, which they might be. Your car drives really ****** weird man...........def not on rails just really weird and bad hahahaha.

My bad Chris, I thought you said they looked the stock color, but didnt ride or sit stock. And yeah we gotta check them out to make sure they arnt cut or heated...soon...hahahahaha

please tell me you dont have a sub box in there...jk but maybe the guy who owned the car before you did and had like 4 12" and some riced out box that weighed a ton.

my other guess is your car got ghetto lowered. i did it to my escort and loved it so maybe its not that bad unless it was done poorly. btw maybe you need to get new swaybar bushings. if they are even a bit out the car feels like junk over bumps. they are free so go get some from mazda.

Mine are red and blue, but I have compared my height with other MSP's without any suspension done to them and mine is MUCH lower. Im not sure what Cris has exactly, maybe eibachs??? Either way at the last meet I compared (finger test) mine to a bone stock MSP and like I said, it aint the same.

Ok cool. Then what would the reason be for my car sitting lower than another MSP that was right next to me? Any help is appreciated... Maybe in a few minutes Ill sneak out of work and do a few camera phone shots

Is your friend's car an 03 or 03.5? IMO the 03 MSP sits lower stock then the 03.5. It probably rides the same but just looks different. I don't know that's just me.
