please do us the following before posting anymore:
a) think about what you want to type
b) form these thoughts into cohesive sentences
c) get a clue

The MSP's have the same damn 9.1:1 compression as the other Proteges. They don't have beefed up internals, and the ECU sucks. T25's are not LARGE turbos. They suck at more than 16-18psi.

DUDE whatever you just said, it doesnt even applies to this topic, but your a genius...i know what i want to type but i type fast and my old keyboard cant keep up with my fingers and i dont feel like proof reading so that geniuses like you will spend a little extra time on reading the reply...and let me tell you on a VW 1.8T once upgraded from kkk03 unit to a ceramic ball bearing t25 i pushed my VW to 12.6@110.3 so please stop selling the bulls*** that T25 is not , what in reality is....first get an expiernence in tuning the cars then we'll talk....all you gotta do is fine tune the setup and not cry that thats small, that breaks and that sucks....stop whining already

Give me a few hours...My friend boosted his car that much PSI, Im going to show you THAT ******* BEND IT DID to Rods.

Horray, you got a car into the 12's with a T25. Will you marry me?

Your lack of knowledge of the FS-DE and general assumptions lead me to doubt you have any sense. Go look at a T25's compressor map and tell me if its worth pushing a T25 over 16-18psi. The efficiency drops off dramaticlly. Please tell my friend his DSM's T25 can handle 18psi+, its dead from 1.2bar. It WAS a journal bearing turbo, but BB T25's have the same tolerances.

this is a bent rod from my friends crazy boost near 18psi.

This after..i dont know 5 - 10 minutes of boost? I told him, take it easy, give the car a breakin, you need to know the car again, plus you are using low octane fuel.

This is the results, he just boosted in front of me, so the car was cold, 1st gear, 2nd gear and 3rd. He came back with a bad noise coming from the engine.

We had to rebuild it, same day, hes back on the road.

allright you know what.. no problem.. you know it all....im not gonna argue any more you drive your 10psi.. and i'll be driving my 18psi.. but please dont ask me to come along anywhere cause i dont feeling like wasting time on waiting for somebody.... :)

IGDR....what was his setup ??? i mean you can bent rods at 8psi, and you can bent them at 30psi as well.??? as we speak i got buddies driving bare stock 1.8T passats on t68 at 25psi.. and i had a guy you mowed down his connecting rods on a F2T powerplant at 8psi.... it all depends on a tuning that your doing.. i mean i got guy who live and breathe tuning cars and you got guy who only speak and those are the guys that cant go past 10psi casue they're afraid.... GET IT???

Sure, but Im talkin on this particular motor, this rod with no tunning at all. If you are going to talk about other motors: HECK I know this guy that pushes 22psi to his Hyundai Accent and with slicks his best time is 11.43...STOCK MOTOR, STOCK RODS AND PISTONS AND STOCK ECU!!!! AND I HAVE THE VIDEO.

wait wait i just noticed you said give the car a break in??? what was the milage on the motor???

Yes, I can show you all the pictures, not exactly from a MSP, but from a protege since they all have the same internals.

The problem with bent rods is that depending on how bent they are, you may not notice it.

I dont know. maybe 30K or less, The breakin i told him was to make sure its not overboosting and stuff, remember it was a regular protege now with a turbo, and he overboosted it.

This is a piston crack, caused by detonation, you will not notice this kind of crank until it breaks down.

This guy is running 18psi like my car has a button where you can convert it to drive on the water. Your car is either A) Broken already but you just dont know it or B) Ticking time bomb which you will be really sorry once it breaks.

Be sure to post the pictures when it blows.
 
arguments over boost levels, Ah to have a turbo. Anyways back to the thread, has this kid blow his engine yet? i hope he does and gets a new car so i can get some goodies.
