bolt pattern for rx8

i need to know if the 2003 mazda protege bolt pattern is the same as the
rx8. i have some winter tires for sale and someone is interested in the tires for his rx8.

I am pretty sure the stock pattern is 5 X 114 +45 offset. What size rims are they. 17's fit, but most 16's will not clear the brakes.

yes, the bolts line up. 114.3 x 5

the wheels exchange, centerbore is the same.. plenty of guys have the RX-8 18s on their speed proteges. i thought the RX-8 was a 50 offset stock... but I'm not gonna argue with solidtrance! lol

I believe 8 wheels are 8 wide with +50 offset.

I am agree with this. as I believe I recall them being 2" larger than the FDs i picked up, but otherwise dimensionally the same.

one very small semantic correction... which I wouldn't post unless there was an off chance someone taking wheels to a machineshop ended up SOL beceause of a .1mm difference...
