Blue needles and Yellow overlays

Heres the Pic of the Blue needles and Yellow over lays. And I don't need any smart remarks about the Tach. I have a second cluster now and soon it will be perfect.

whao, i wondered what happen to that needle gb. pro and lisa, there was a group buy that went on b4 for them... heres the site where u can order them from though... oh kay well never mind, the link doesnt work anymore it was importcarpartsplus.com but cant find server? they were i think probably $200 for all 4 needles. shawn, are the needles that dull? on the site it was super bright. nice! peace - chris

Yes I was the one that started the Gb for these needle kits a long time ago, thing is I had 5 people in in the interest thread and when I started the officall GB thread to get things done only 2 other people other than myself signed up, after three tries I gave up. And it was embarrissing cause I had been talking to that guy for a long time about the pricing and stuff, he was giving really good deals.

the needle bulb kits which were 2 large bulbs and 2 small for the needless were like 72 shipped in any of like 3-8 colors.

the polarg 194 bulbs for the actual gauge illumination(the numbers and dashes) was 9 per pair and u needed 3 pairs to do all the gauges. the overlays were 25 shipped with 5 buyers.

he also has an all inclusive package which has the needle kit, the 6 polarg bulbs(3 pairs) and the gauge overlays for like 128 on his site, he gave me 108 shipped for them.

If there is DEFINATE interest in this I will contact the g8uy there and geta gb going again but I have to know there is enough people, i am not jerkin this guy around again.

i have a serious question...how the hell did you swap the needles without breaking them like everyone else does?

From my understanding, you don't "swap" the needle. There's simply a amber "sticker" that gives it the color and you just change the top layer (the sticker) to change the color.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

there is an orange layer - yes

you remove the orange layer for this affect leaving a clear acryllic rod there- yes

you replace the orange sticker - no

the new color comes from a "ring bulb" specxific for gauge needles that sends the colored light from the needle base out through the acryllic needle. that is the blue illumination.
