Blue LED over Console in CX-7

I really liked and miss the small Blue LED that was over my gear shift in my CX-7. I wonder how hard it would be to add to the CX-9? Any thoughts on how to do? I have tried looking for the parts online, but no luck. I may have to try junk yard....

What year is your CX-9? I have a 2010 GT and it has the little blue light above the gear shifter that comes on when the lights are turned on.

Touring....I did not realize the GT had it over shifter....just thought it had Blue LED in cluster. Should have spent the extra $$$ on a GT (eek2)

The blue LED accenting (doors, shifter, and instrument cluster) is only on the GT model. For many it adds no value at all, but the GT does come with other things besides the blue light, so it's just an extra. Cosmetically, I really like it, but if I wasn't interested in the other things the GT adds, I surely would not spend the extra just for the lighting I haven't looked at it close enough to see if it's something that would be easy to swap out on a Touring or Sport for one on a GT...interesting question.

FYI - I was joking about buying the GT for the lighting - LOL. I did not even know it was in there, however the only thing that interested me in a GT was the HID auto on/off headlights. - which just like you said, not really worth it.....

I am really wanting to add this, if I can make it look OE.
