Yeah. I have had nothing but problems with it since I got it, mostly small stuff, like no heat..no dash lights..temp guage quit working..rear sway bar bushings rotted off..radio quit..that kinda crap.baconbitz said:

But Seriously. if have 7500 to drop on the car,(well it might be different now that you dont have to) well in any case. Spend wisely and do it right. there are plenty of people who werent so wise that you can learn from there mistakes.

Yeah. The 7500 is crazy. I think thats based on a complete crate motor with turbo and all. The said about 5000 for the motor and the rest in labor.MakeMeGoFast said:

id def get a built motor from SU.com
those guys are great and will be glad to help you in ANY way they can. personally i wouldnt get a motor from anywhere else, esp not from mazda.
talk to cullen some more if you want, he is a great guy that will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.

Just a thought. . I went this route. . Sell the msp, Buy an evo, And never worry about too much boost again! (glare) 22psi all day long with no worries!! Not tryin to hate on the msp's cause I loved mine to death but unless you put quite a bit of money into it, you should be worried that your motor will blow at anytime with upped boost!

My opinion is that's ok. I had my set at about 10 and the spike killed me.fr0st said:

a good place to get a forged motor is protegegarage.com. you can build it the way you want it and thell mail it to you

Not to be a jerk, But I thought I would add this for the future people that decied to up the boost.
You need more then an intake, and just a cat-back. Things you should have if you pla to boost safely above stock which ranges from 5 psi to 7 psi (thats what i've heard is stock).
Upgrade your Intercooler either SMIC or FMIC (with pipes if u get smic upgrad)
get a downpipe like a J midpipe, and cat back
intake and I reccomend upgrade the BPV to something like the forge BOV or any other BPV/BOV. The stock BPV does not hold boost very well and tends to leak.
Don't boost above 10 everyone says without EM
