It just goes to show what can be accomplished with the right combination of inordinate amounts of money and boredom. The saddest thing about all of that is that this particular group of people have so little appreciation of money and so much disregard for even their own safety that don't even seem to understand the finality of reality. Several bad wrecks and everyone is just standing around....even when cars come careening toward them. Car vs person.....car wins every time. It ain't even funny...it's just stupid.

So what. What else better do they have to do. At least there not killing US citizens, its what happens when there is no law enforcement, I am pretty sure there would be people driving like that hear too if there was no law enforcement. I mean over there it is like Grand theft auto 3, nobody really owns a car. Its entertainment for us... Right.

At least all of our nations agree on something, drifting is great, I really wouldnt call it drifting, but they get the idea. I think its great!

I showed the video to a colleague of mine who is on a one year stint in Canada doing extra training. He is a young Saudi about 25 years old. He was not at all surprised by the video and said that it was a common occurrence. He said that most of the cars are stolen so they don't give a s*** what happens to them. He said that these gatherings happen fairly regularly with young people who have nothing better do do. They steal a few cars, take them to where there is a wide open space and then proceed to drift them, crash them, and basically wreck them in the name of entertainment. It is common for people to get hurt and people are often killed, but it is like the street racing culture here. They figure that it is a price that you might have to pay to have a good time. No one ever thinks that they are going to be the one that gets hurt.

Now this is not to say that none of these guys are wealthy and are just trying to show off to their friends. That happens also, but for the most part he said that its bored kids and young adults group joyriding. My $0.02.
