Never!
Only use the same sub unless you are bandpassing the frequencies of each and using seperate amps.

i just cant take this guy seriously... he clearly hasnt thought anything through nor done any research himself. this is just fine if he has about $3K and pays a pro to install, build and wire everyting but he doesnt... he has no comprehension on how many factors go into designing and building a complex multisub/amp system thats not only loud but sounds good...

well howabout i just sit this one out and see how it turns out

No need, your input is very valuable. Putting out there the fact that this is not an easy task and he needs to do some listening is great advice. But you can do that and not include the insult.

so you won't take me seriously cause that's how i started out?(chair) i HAD three 15's in the trunk with stock speakers. course since then i've spent countless hours and probably over $10k worth of equipment to learn. this friday i'll be getting certified as an iasca judge and i'll be judging SBN this weekend. the point of this is that everyone starts somewhere. did you just know everything when you started out? no? ok, get off his case(mswerd)
