2024 CX-5 Android Auto setup doesn't connect

I recently purchased a 2024 CX 5 and am both unfamiliar with and unable to setup android auto on my vehicle. I paired it fine for blue tooth etc but it always states " no selectable device found" when I try to start android auto setup. To the right on the menu indicates up/down to select android or apple features. I've tried numerous times and my phone (Samsung S20 FE) does have android auto installed by default) I'm sure its probably me, but any suggestions? I've went through the manual and tried with no luck?

I only have a usb to usb c cable. In my console i have 2 usb c ports. I need a usb c on both ends. Sorry if I wasnt clear.

Try a USB-C cable to rule out the adapter. Your phone should have come with one. If you don't have one, they're easy to find.

Ive tried to wirelessly connect it. I dont have a usb-c to usc-c cable. Ill get one and retry that again. I appreciate the suggestions.

Aren't the USB jacks in the center console regular USB (USB-A) and not the smaller USB-C?
I know I have a USB(A) to USB-C cable in mine.

Yes I have USB-C ( 2 in front console ) 1 USB -A in rear console…
Yours is different than mine. I have a 12v cigarette type plug, 2 USB-A outlets that supply continuous power, and the slot for a map SD card. I have USB-A's in the back seat.
If I try and connect AA wirelessly, I get the same message you say you got along with instructions to plug in a usb cable.
If you can't get it, swing by the dealer and ask them to see if they can get it connected for you.

I ordered a new usb- card to usb-c cable and presto...all good. Apparently a usb-a to c adapter was causing it to not work. Thanks for all the suggestions and replies...
