Does anyone have these tires? They are having a SCREAMING deal at Tire Rack for these in the size I'm gonna need and was looking for some feedback.

Yeah, but these are all black.

I have them mounted on my new 19's and damn do these grip! Their is no road noise, the ride is awesome!! It's definitely an underrated tire.

They're ricer tires. Look neat, but don't grip as well as tires designed with more than appearance in mind...

Ricer tires?!?! no way dude. These grip so much better than I expected. And treadwear is at 300 which is awesome. Road noise is decreased, and almost not there. The design is tight, and they perform as awesome as they look. Have you ever even tried the tires?

I have owned those tires in 17" and actually attempted to sell a barely used set on this forum this past spring. I ended up selling them on a Honda forum though instead.

My opinion of them is they look cool but not if you have a lowered ride ... even just the standard protege sits too low to really see the tread. Performance wise I thought they were "OK" -- definitely not what I'd consider "great" and their wet performance wasn't very good. If you can get them at a reasonable price they're a decent buy but I wouldn't pay more than $100 a tire for them personally.

Here's a picture of the set I sold -- I sold them for $300; they cost $575 brand new (but this orange, yellow, orange was a setup that you CAN'T get from BF Goodrich anymore, so it was truely 1-of-a-kind).

At $59 a tire (215/40/17) I think it's a no-brainer at this point.

Yeah, I have. I wasn't impressed. I think my old Kumhos were better... which isn't bad, for a cheap tire, but certainly nothing I'd consider good. It's just the kind of tire I'd toss on an old $3000 used car...
