best exhaust system

i've seen the magnaflow all over the internet. but i want to know which exhaust system is the best per say. i know its ricy, but like the loud mufflers, not too loud though. but i want good gains, and no loss of torque if possible, any suggestions?

i have the p5, dont want too loud, i'd rather get gains then get noise. dont know how much i want to spend yet, i guess it depends on how much gain, for example if i can get like 25hp ill spend like 500, if only like 15 then 300, etc. unless its just not worth it

with a full catback, header, intake, high flow midpipe, you'd be lucky to get 15 to the wheels. No exhaust will give you 15 let alone 25 HP for the P5. Sorry man. If you're looking for power, you need turbo or a LOT of money in NA mods.

im also scared about turboing, dont wanna blow my engine. how good are those "universal" turbos on ebay for like 700 bucks? i was thinking about one of those, but i have to buy a downpipe and manifold separately

you want to get a decent exhuast go with some sound megan and corksport are your best bets. i have a racing beat cat back, SLS midpipe and tsudo header and it is loud, but thats over $1000 new, but if your smart (like me) you can piece that set up together for under $600!

its basically my attempt to be as cheap as possible but get at least 170whp. manifold is about 150, couldnt find a downpipe though

iono, it may sound good and all but the parts that come with it, may need major fabrication due to oversize/undersize? krap alignment with other parts and such. and you end up having a harder time puttin together the ebay kit than you would have piecing ur own kit from buys on forums or wherever else.
if you want, you can always check out Hiboost.com i think a couple members have that kit on here and its a pretty decent kit.

yea itll work for about a month then the turbo shatters getting parts into your motor and boom bye bye motor. ebay turbos are pure garbage and i curse the people who made them. just spend a 1500 or so and get a mazdapseed protege oem kit(used of course).

eBay is good for cosmetics, not performance. Please don't mess ur car up with eBay "performance" goods if you aren't willing to spend good cash for true performance. I can attest to this as I have went the thrifty eBay way and ended up with repairs costing as much as the actual OEM unit itself. Unless it is for cosmetics, eBay is not the way to go. Try your local tuner shop or some reputable sponsored vendors on these forums...

i have megan racing and its not loud at all until u remove the cat...but im really over the loud exhaust phase..i want to go back to stock lol

if u want ill sell u my megan racing exhaust, i honestly cant remember how many miles i have on it tho, not too many
