I did some quick research and it looks like the 18x8 5x114.3 is only available in a +38.

It would work. Call BBS America and ask what sizes they are available in.

Wastegate, thanks for your constructive posts, I'm not sure what was so confusing about my original post?

What was confusing was that I wasn't sure if you were asking what sizes are available for that wheel (which a quick search on Google revealed) or what sizes will fit the MS3.

*JACK ALERT*

since the question was being asked, 18x7.5 38mm will work right? is it better than a 45mm or is it the other way around? (rims both available at 18x7.5 38mm AND 45mm)

I'm looking at the 18X8 +38. I'd like to run a 225 or wider tire with the stock suspension and without rubbing.. is this a pipe dream, or is it possible?

Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Either will "work". Like your motor setup everything is a system and must work together to get the results you want. Suspension type, ride height, camber, tire size and fender rolling all play a big part in wheel/tire fitment.

I've not run anything wider than the stock 215's so I have no personal experience. A fender roll should cure your problems.

i don't see myself having aftermarket tires and suspension for a while. just wondering which one is better coz the 45mm's are running out and there's a bunch of 38mm's...
