Does the punkbuster, anti-cheat stuff actually deter all the ******* douche bag loser cheaters and hackers? Cause I can't stand games that are totally plagued by cheaters...

so far im sure people have found cheats. but, seeing that youre playing on a server with 64 people, if one person is cheating you prob wont even know let alone care.
also, there are things called stat padding, where you do certain things that dont involve actual cheating but are nonetheless considered so. for example, you get a point or something everytime you revive someone as a medic. so often, people will meet up, 2 from one team and 1 from another, and the one team guy will kill the other guy. the medic will revive. so the guy on the opp team gets two points for killing, then the medic gets points for revival. a lot of clans i guess do this on their own servers. ive never actually seen in being done.
supposedly a lot of that crap will change with the upcoming patch, and supposedly in the new patch to take a flag you have to get out of the helo (youll see what i mean when you get it).

Guys, the new HLSW support BF2 now, go get it! (I've updated the first post). I've been using HLSW for a long time and for varies of games (CS, DoD, etc..) including now BF2 now. They have buddy function on there which I never used before, if any of you end of d/ling it. Let me know and we'll figure it out.
Basically, you're able to add server to your favorite and view the server (empty or not) before going into the game. Great program, been using it for over 3 or 4 years now and it doens't take alot of computer resources.

Dude, does this ever occur to you guys at all? Sometimes I see this guy with red name (enemy), then I start shooting at him. After I killed him, I get punish for TK...
WTF? he was red to me...not to mention I didn't even get "Don't hurt your teammate" when I was shooting at him.
