you cant just take the AC belt off?

Nope. It's a huge pain in the ass.

A/C BELT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Applicable Models
Model Starting S/N Ending S/N
2004 MAZDA3 00000000 ZZZZZZZZ

The workshop manual recommends special fitting hardware be used to install a new A/C belt and to cut the existing belt in order to remove it. (Reference pages 01-10-3 and 01-10-4.) The fitting hardware assists in A/C belt installation due to the absence of an idler/adjustment pulley. Please order A/C belt kit p/# LFY1-15-SAX which includes a belt, fitting hardware, and instructions. Because the fitting hardware is designed for a one time use only, the kit must be ordered each time the A/C belt is serviced. *** Published in M-tips newsletter Jan/Feb 2004.

I have called and spoke to the owner on the first of this month and was assured the kits would ship by the 6th of april.. this is also the third time i was told the kits would ship "next week".. I dont see myself buying anything from this company again.

This is not good. We can't be loosing venders like this...6 club recieved the same treatment and some got this feeling they were being rushed off the phone when they called. I almost wanted to do the BSD for more oil capastiy :( anyone have ann better stories told to them why they didn't ship or keep them in stock?

Slightly off-topic: If you want more oil capacity, you could install an inline oil cooler. That should give you another half-quart or so, depending on how big of one you install.

I asked around if there were any aftermarket 2.3 foci pans and nobody ansered that either. I'll look into that since I'm contemplating the spin on conversion in the near future(2 oil changes away) I already have the huge Tranny cooler mounted behing the grille now. I might use the V6 wagon tranny cooler as one since they put it in the vented wheel well.

As far as Walter (guy that runs MarcyMtorsports) goes, he means really well and is a great guy to get info from. But just like those that try to get ahold of Juan from HiBoost, when you own the company AND do all the work you get really busy. He lost a couple of his main guys in December which pushed him way back....and his niche is the Focus...they get the most time. I've had the BSD kit on since new years day and it took some time to get mine as well, but it did come eventually. For those that are reading here before the actual order, i would suggest emailing Walter and asking him when you'd get it if you ordered it today...he might tell you to hold off as he's way behind. Just some opinions, i was supposed to head to his place in Jan. , but he was just too hard to get a hold of to set a time to meet i passed on it...i know what you guys are talking about, it does suck to be left hanging.

Well, here's what I'm not understanding: isn't this "kit" just a bolt, a washer, a core plug and a little steel plate?

I mean, really... how hard could it be to drop those four little items in a baggie, throw a couple stamps on it and shove it out the door?? It's not like you need a journeyman machinist to do the work or anything! Seems like it's a quick thirty bucks for them!

I keep hearing how the owner is a really nice guy and he means well but this means nothing to me when I am lied to or mislead. The first time I spoke with him I was given the whole story about him being the only one there yada yada yada. And thats fine. If he is unable to fulfill his end of the agreement to provide these parts as ordered he should refund our money.

Instead he is giving his customers the runaround if even giving them the time of day at all..

Funny thing is the last time I was able to speak with him(back on the first) he told me people had been calling him and going off about not getting their orders. He just kinda lauged about it. I should have asked him to cancel my order right then and there.. Now its been over 45 days and paypal apparently doesnt resolve issues after that amount of time.

Unless a resolution to this is reached soon I will write of this purchase and red flag marcy motorsports whenever i hear or see thier name.

?WHAT! (boom05)

It is alittle more than just throwing those pieces into a bag! You can't just go out and buy the parts at a hardware shop. They have to be made too.
You guys just don't understand how many emails and phone calls Walter gets in a day. I surprised that he has any time to work on the many cars at his shop yet along work on his own.
If you haven't gotten your kit it mostly like is because it is backordered. Which is out of his hands.
You want your money back call him up. Posting on here doesn't help I'm sure he doesn't look here anyway.
He is a very well wanted tuner and is very busy. Call him up if you have problems....I did.

I dont care if the guy is laying hands on hands on the lame and making miracles. Ive spoke with him twice and both times was told "next week for sure." Buyer beware.

No ones crying here. We are just discussing the poor serive which is being provided from a vendor. Seeing how you are such a big proponent of Walter (bowdown) maybe you can get past what others are saying is a black hole of an answering machine and remind him he took money form people without providing a product.
Or you could post back here with another condescending comment and mark up another one in the "failed to positively contribute column". (thumb)

Yea, but someone has to make the plug and hte metal piece in order to ship them. Maybe he is kept up with the new 4-2-4-1 headers

The metal piece, yes. Although, I'm pretty sure he is not making them in his shop but is buying them from somebody else.
The plug looks like a regular old core plug that you can buy at any auto parts store, same with the bolt and washer.

Maybe whoever gets theirs next should just measure the pieces and post the dimensions. That way we could all make our own and not bother poor, overworked Walter.

noone is crying, i mean sh** he took our money.....You shouldnt be takin orders if you cant send the product...if he is too "busy" he shouldnt be taking orders online...What kinda business is he runnin? he is lucky noone has thought about reporting him to the Better Business B. You cant take money if you dont ship the part.... Months of waiting is something you do for a car you order not for a few bolts you buy online....
