Dose anyone know how to take off the badges? Is there a tool to buy or a spray that eats the adhesive? I want to paint mine but i cant figure out how to remove the Badges Any help would be appreciated!

LMAO. I was like bagels? I want a bagel. On my MS3 the rear one has tape and two prongs. I got a small screwdriver and COVERED it in medical tape to pull it off with no problems then just used flat black spray paint and a coat of clear. I used a little goo gone to get the rest of the adhesive off.

I took off the 3 badge for a Axela one I had, it takes a bit of time but you will get it. What I did was grab a old credit card, and kept on working it under it until the sticky stuff comes all the way off. It takes a bit of work, and you'll see some scratches but it's worth it.

dental floss. a heat gun or hair dryer will soften any adhesive, and many pros use dental floss to get the badges off. It wont scratch like fishing line and is strong enough

does anyone know whats behind the trunk mazda logo (sedan)? if its just on there with adhesive or holes or recessed or something like that...

Are you referring to the 3sedan? If so there are holes & adhesive. :)

yea i was... ah well... i guess i'm leaving the "M" badge on. maybe paint it black or something... my car is that dark gray/silver color...

anyone got pics of something like that?

alright for the 5 door... i've seen that the mazda logo has holes but everything is just adhesive... is that about right? and i've got that dark gunmetal gray and also thinking black for the M badge like pego.

The only way to get the Mazda3 really badgeless is if you get a shop to weld in the holes, shave it, then repaint and polish.

Nope. But I asked around. A couple of hundred dollars, maybe.
Velocifero had it done on his MSP. And it looks really good.

I guess really, just try to match the colors as close as possible to what you can find at an auto shop to your body.
In the Mazda3 hatch pictures thread, a lot of the black Mazda3 hatch's paint the emblems black, but the type of black would be your choice. Glossy, semi-glossy, flat, low-gloss, etc.

I've got the dark grey but want to do black for the badge... might give it a mean look. btw i need to post some pics of mine... don't have any up here yet.
