Baconbitz's 1997 240sx Project/DD

IT LIVES!!!!!! Yay. lol. Still gotta do a couple things, wash, more tranny fluid, exhaust (open header sucks), bleed the clutch and put my interior back together. The coils ride really really good, smoother than my mazda but the car has NO body roll whatsoever. I'm very happy.
 
Haha, I'm working on it. Gotta figure out my lug nut situation on the left rear. I'm exhausted, been working on the car all day. Should be able to snap some pictures tonight though.
 
No pics tonight. Just got done finishing some stuff up with the car, I've been doing nothing but working on it since 9am this morning. UGH. Hopefully it holds together for the ride to Tampa 7 hours from now.

Just bought a 3 inch ss cat-back for the car. Off brand but I got a damn good deal. Here's a quick picture of it sitting on my friend's floor.

This is alittle off topic but its still a swap in a 240. My cousin sent me these pics of someone on a Nissan forum is selling a VH45de V8 swap kit with motor and trans for 4500 bucks for a 240 swap. My cousin thinks I should buy it.

I just asked my cousin on aim and he does not know what the diameter of the pipe.

That is freakin awesome. Looks like one hell of a tight squeeze though.

A little update on the car. I got it down here to Tampa on Sunday in what was probably one of the worst trips ever. lol. The car was overheating kind of bad and I got about a half hour south of Atlanta when I decided I couldn't risk my head gasket. I drove back up to the city to my friend's shop and we used a new U-shaped hose to bypass my heater, not the ghetto hose I was using before. It still over heats at idle but we got it running well enough to get me down here. I'm going to bleed the coolant system when I feel better so probably sometime later this week. Oh, and driving a car that sits this low is crazy. I'm super careful going over things because even if the front bumper doesn't scrape the frame might (rofl)
 
Atleast you made it to FLA. So it overheats at idle? Is the fan clutch bad or is the aux fan not running? I would check both.

Clutch fan is sitting on the floor :). Running an electric fan right now but after talking with my man Travis we've decided the fan I have just isn't going to push enough air. I'm going to try and pick up some altima fans asap to fix it.

Did I call that are what? Which Altima fan are you going to use? I would think the VQ35 fan would be the best bet if it would fit in the s14. My cousin used a dual fan he purchased from either Jegs.com or Summitracing.com.

its a nice 240. i also have a project 240sx.
mine has an s13 sr20det blacktop in an S14, hks GT-rs turbo, greddy 1.2 head gasket, 740cc inj., rom tune, z32 MAF, blitz intercooler, grex cams and valve springs, mild head work, cusco coilovers, apexi 3.5" catback, silviaworks.com Dp and straight pipe, nismo FPR, autometer boost, oil psi, and water temp gauges, nardi steering wheel and hub, ANOTHER JDM bubble shift knob, work ryver 17x8+ 5 & 17x9+17 wheels, koyo copper radiator, nismo rad 1.3 bar cap, samco hoses, hks BOV, greddy oil pan and alot more s***!!!!! i love 240's!
