Yes, it is for the stock one. Grease it up good and you should be set.

I don't really notice a squeak in my P5. I have the 21.5 AWR bar going in soon, hopefully that doesn't make too much noise.

i hope this is the right solution....its gettin pretty loud and with the hot summer days ahead, its just going to worsen.....*crosses fingers* i sure hope this works!!!

i just want to upgrade my bushings, nothing that crazy i also dont want to spend that much...simple bushing upgrade and white lithium grease should do me!

AWR bushings installed. No more squeaky rear-end. Took less than 15 min total. The old ones looked like total crap. Thanks **********...

i got a very nice solution for the dreaded clunk.

loosen the rear sway bar, take out the bushing...now, here's the tricky part

look for some old motor oil (come on, you should have some laying around)
now, without the wife/mom looking, pour some oil into a glass and heat it up for 1 minute in the microwave until it gets pretty hot, not burning hot.

now, dump the two bushings into the glass with oil and let it soak up that hot oil. let it sit for about 15 minutes, then take out dry and install again..

i did this three months ago, and the clunk is gone, even tho i miss it :(

i go thru bumps and holes and everything else rattles but the sway bar...the clunk is gone.

I followed tha above post, and so far it's working. No squeak, no clunk. Took longer than expected because the bolts were in there pretty good. I recomend it for a "for free" fix. I'll have to see how long it lasts.

Interesting solution Alejo_NIN, too bad I just bought the AWR's from street unit last week. I can't take the squeeks anymore, it's getting embarassing.

I'M GLAD is working for you....hopefully someone would move this to the how-to section...

it's been what? 4 months? and still the clunk hasn't come back...and just for the record, i live in miami, and not so long ago we had water flood around here..some places up to a foot deep...and still, the clunk is gone...

come on people...do this!!

So now I'm curious to how this works. Does the oil when heated penetrate into the rubber or something? Kinda like a bronze oil bushing?

Get the AWR

I installed the AWR bushings and they work great plus they are stiffer than stock. It's a cheap upgrade and it will take care of the clunk and squeek. That oil process sounds like a hastle and there is a chance you could cause a mess in the kitchen.

i have the same problem with the clunking.....does anyone know if just replacing the sway bar back to the stock one would help? I have tried both factory and the bushings for the mazdaspeed sway bar and nothing has worked.
