Dyno reclass? You had the car reclassed without an engine swap or induction change? For what reason?

The good thing like Bill said is that the HP to Weight is a fair tool that NASA uses as well. They do make it fair as possible so everyone has a fair chance to do well. Can't wait to get back to Mid-O in a couple of weeks on the Pro Course and then again in August!

Watched the in-car of the Camaro. Not sure how true the story of the throttle sticking is. You can hear it blip right before hitting Joe, but after that, the engine is off.

I watched it last night. The announcers were just guessing at that point, right as it happened. When they interviewed him a half hour later he said the brakes failed. He tried pumping them which was enough for one lock-up in the front right before hitting the RX8. I couldn't believe he was 100% unhurt and able to recount everything that happened.

Yeah, that he was OK (as was Joe at the end of the day) is incredible.

While it was a really bad situation that could have been much much worse, there was some humor in it to me. They kept showing the in-car of the RX8, and the sound it made right after getting hit up the trumpet was hilarious to me. As if the car went "WTF WAS THAT!?!?!" (rlaugh)

Update: I can't find the link right now, but I read last night that the in-car data showed a catastrophic rear brake failure as the cause.

I could see that. The fronts locked really easily in that video when pumping the brakes.
