Here's a video with some mediocre driving


My fastest run from our last autox (2 weeks ago). Fun course, the big left hand sweeper after the slalom was impossible (for me) to get right. I never quite got the line or the speed I should have carried through there. Oh well. Still left with a smile on my face after driving this stupid contraption tho :D
 
It was an awesome course, no lie. And as such, it was more challenging than I was talented on that day lol
 
That is what makes them good, if was easy it would also be boring. It feels good to know that you wen't fast but you could go faster.
 
Well... sort of. It feels better to rip of a near-as-makes-no-difference perfect run.
 
On rare occasion? Yeah, actually. Feels even better when that run gets you a victory. It's the reason I, at least, keep going back. Well, 1 reason. The pursuit of that one perfect run. And when you hit it? Oh baby :D
 
I haven't had a perfect run, I always feel like I have a tenth out there somewhere ( and that's what keeps me going back) But I still know what you mean about hitting a smoking hot run, best feeling you can get with your clothes on.

sm76 - so cool to see you guys still running this car :) i am trying to class my MSP for TT. is the base class TT-E?

The base class is TTF** (so TTF with 14 base points) at a comp weight of 2843 (which includes the driver). For this year I am running under a dyno reclass of TTE** at a comp weight of 2625 and maximum 180 wheel horsepower.

Dyno reclass? You had the car reclassed without an engine swap or induction change? For what reason?

Because there is a 5 point hit for cars with forced induction and my car doesn't really take advantage of it. My dyno reclass is better with some ways I looked at running the car, the base class was better for others. I just decided to pick the lightest one possible.

Ah. I forgot you got to drop that with the reclass. With the reclass do you get points off for the now TTE base class tire size? I can't imagine you're running that meaty of tires.

I am running 225s so I get -1 point because the base class size is 235.
