Auxmod - Can anyone confirm?

I have a CX-7 (Bose, NO NAV, w/Sat).

Can anyone confirm if this company is in business? I have emailed them and no response for a week. The paypal link still works so I am assuming the still have some in stock (or they'd take link down, right???).

Anyway can someone confirm they have recently bought one AND if anyone has installed in a CX-7?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

The Aux mod only works on the standard radio, as I recall, there is no MD port on the bottom of the Bose units.

I thought the same thing....However....I have confirmed with Revolution Perfomance Motorsports that the Axxess unit they sell works and that is how it is installed via MD Port.

I guess maybe I should just take it out unless someone can confirm.

I know, I had my hands on a Bose H/U, there was tape where the MD port should be, and pulling the tape off reveled where it should be soldered in. This one was not an MP3 Unit.

Just to verify, the Audiolink uses the CD changer port? So, it won't work if I have a 6-disk changer Bose system? I've been thinking of getting it and want to be sure it'd work. Thanks

No it will, the CD changer port is for an external CD changer and no CX-7 comes equipped with one.

LOVE, can you confirm that there is a SEPERATE CD CHANGER PORT from the MD PORT and that the INTERGRATED SIRIUS does NOT use this CD CHANGER PORT?

IE...As I said before I have the sirius option and want to use the CD CHANGER PORT.

Haha, sorrry, I misread a bit, but maybe you can look into a switch box like found on the CX-9(it allows you to have both, switches over from one to the other), it may work, not sure but it might.

FYI there is an accessory that allows the use of the ipod (which i assume also the Audiolink unit) as well as the sirius system on bose units. Atleast that's what the service tech told me when i went in to schedule some maintenance. I'll be there this weekend to find out about this accessory while my 7 is getting worked on. Not sure what you're looking for, buti can post more on it this weekend if it sounds like something you'd want.

Ipod Intergration w/Nav

Sorry if this question has been answered before....

My car has the tech pkg....So if I am not using the SAT RADIO - is there a way to use the SAT RAD port to intergrate an IPOD ?

Also, does anyone know if there are any RCA ports on the back of the BOSE HU, if so perhaps installing a "Y" connector would allow IPOD intergration. My brother inlaw had this done on his AUDI whereby they installed a "Y" connector on the CD Player which meant as long as you werent playing a CD, you simply used the IPOD instead. No charging or steering wheel controls other than volume, but heck I would surely settle for this setup in my CX7

Anyone that can confirm either of these solutions as possible, PLEASE advise
