I have searched and did not really find anything... I purchased the AuxMod Basic and want to run a 3.5mm cable to the armrest and mount it in there so that its clean looking. Any ideas? Has anyone done this yet?

It's pretty easy to run a cable like that under the console. You could come up through the parking brake hole or drill a small hole in the bottom of the console under the armrest.

Yeah I was thinking about drilling a small hole in the console and mounting a 3.5mm Stereo Coupler F/F to make it look somewhat factory installed.

You can take a look at TWM's short shifter install instructions for how to remove the center console. A small hole with a rubber grommet to replace it and then the 3.5mm jack would work great. If you're using an iPod, I recommend going with a line level 14-pin to 3.5mm connector for better sound quality, and independent volume controls from the HU itself.

Thanks! I appreciate the info. Yeah, it would be for my ipod & iphone...
