AutoX Season Begins

I'm not a MWCSCC member. What do I select out of the drop down boxes?

You can put none-for club, it doesn't really matter. Just need to list your car class, name, and when you want to run.

never going to rosecroft again. I'll just attend the fedex ones.
What, you don't like gravel? ;)

I'm planning to be there on the 4th.

Ohh I get it, the drop downs are for number slots with in the heat... I'm signed up for slot #101 at the 8am session. See you there.

Matt, You may want to sign up now Regardless, you can always cancel. BUT, the spots fill up quick, there arn't many left already.

So I'm trying to figure out what class I'm supposed to be in. On the scca site I found this:
Any replacement air filter element (or removal of air filter element); no plumbing changes, however

I think my cai takes me out of the stock class. HELP ME, I B DUMBASS

Dru and I are in for the first heat.
As it stands right now, she's got a lock for Fastest Time of the Day in E Stock Ladies! :D
I figure I've got just as good a shot at FTD as the other E Stock male! Look out, Hank Kuo I'm gunning for you!! ;)

Matt, Just sign up. Looks like you will be in STX. Sign up for that, and ask 'em when you get there. They'll tech your car either way, and make adjustments to the class you're in accordingly. There's still slots for the 8:00 AM first heat, and several of us are in it. Come play!

In the mean time, I've got my new shocks and springs, and I really, really need tires, or we won't be racing the 7 at all!

See you all there!

.....aaaand I just noticed Matt signed up for the 4th heat! Good for you. Enjoy the extra sleep! I don't think we'll be sticking around for the whole day to watch!

The tech guys won't actually commnt on your class. It's the priority of other drivers to police each others classes. Matt could probably run stock and not get in 'trouble', but if he were to start winning over and over he would most likely get called on his cai. Just a heads up=p

I've got my $ on Hank, he has working automatic seat belts now, I don't know how a NA can compete with that;)

You guys have fun up there. We have our own regional AutoX here on the 4th in Greensboro. Keep us posted on how everything goes.

Now, are you referring to my (FC) RX-7 being NA (normally aspirated) or did you think I was racing my (NA) Miata which is also NA (normally aspirated)? Or is Hank's car JDM, so you were saying that my NA NA NA (North American Market, Normally Aspirated, NA-series) Miata had no chance??
  ;)

I crack myself up!

NA= Miata. Figured you would be running it. I remember you mentioning the FC was having issues a while back, I wasn't sure if those were resolved. I assume so if you're thinking of autoxing it=D

Yeah, we're getting the 7 sorted. I figure we'll have the springs and struts in this Wednesday, tires on as soon as I can, and the clutch may have to wait a bit. I think we can 'cross on a slipping clutch, although that may hasten its demise! It may also slow our acceleration as we get into second. :(
